This Picture Says So Much

This picture says so much about the return of the now deposed former president of Honduras, Zelaya. In an afternoon filled with dark clouds Zelaya flies the skies of the capital Tegucigalpa trying to land his Venezuelan plane. Like poetic justice, the return of Zelaya also brought with him darkness to the Honduran skies.

The very few that support his return had no choice but to return to their homes with empty hopes of receiving "their leader" whose arrival was prevented by the military when they blocked the runway. One has to wonder how many of those are Cubans, Venezuelans, and Nicaraguans sent in to create chaos in Honduras. More than eighty percent of Hondurans reject Zelaya's return to the country. Hondurans are not waiting for Zelaya's return with arms wide opened.

When Zelaya is not around, Honduras enjoys bright, sunny and peaceful days. Upon his return, dark clouds cover the skies of Tegucigalpa, to somehow remind us of what this man represents to the small, yet brave, country of Honduras who against world opinion, and support, is fighting to enforce, and protect its constitution from Chavez's attempts to spread his Castro-influenced communism throughout Latin America.
